Deskripsi
Pantai Hambawang (SMAN 2 Barabai) - Seluruh siswa-siswa SMA Negeri 2 Barabai beserta semua Bapak/Ibu guru dan staf tata laksana sekolah Memperingati Hari Pendidikan Nasional, Kamis (02/05/2024) di Lapangan Outdoor SMA Negeri 2 Barabai. Pada tahun 2024 ini, tema yang diusung adalah “Bergerak Bersama, Lanjutkan Merdeka Belajar”. Tema ini tertuang dalam Surat Edaran Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi RI Nomor 11911/MPK.A/TU.02.03/2024 tentang Pedoman Peringatan Hari Pendidikan Nasional Tahun 2024.
Kemeriahan peringatan Hari Pendidikan Nasional ini ditunjukkan dengan antusiasnya Bapak/Ibu guru, staf tata laksana sekolah, dan siswa siswi SMA Negeri 2 Barabai yang mengenakan bermacam-macam pakaian adat dari seluruh Indonesia. Begitu juga dengan anak-anak OSIS dan Drum Band SMA Negeri 2 Barabai selaku petugas yang mengiringi jalannya upacara.
Kepala SMA Negeri 2 Barabai, Sahrida Melati, S,Pd dalam sambutannya, menyampaikan Pidato Mendikbudristek, Nadiem Anwar Makarim yang menyoroti wajah baru dunia pendidikan dan kebudayaan Indonesia yang sedang dibangun bersama melalui gerakan Merdeka Belajar. Banyak praktik baik terjadi dan kini anak-anak Indonesia kembali berani untuk bermimpi dengan kemerdekaan belajar yang dilakukannya.
“Kita melihat kembali keberanian para guru untuk mencoba hal-hal baru karena mereka mendapatkan kepercayaan untuk mengenal dan menilai murid-muridnya. Para mahasiswa yang siap berkarya dan berkontribusi dengan kebebasan belajar di luar kampus. Dan kita merasakan kembali karya-karya kreatif seniman dan pelaku budaya yang terus didukung untuk berekspresi,” pungkas Nadiem.
Oleh karena itu, Hari Pendidikan Nasional tahun 2024 mengusung tema “Bergerak Bersama, Lanjutkan Merdeka Belajar”. Tema tersebut mengajak seluruh elemen bangsa, dari pendidik, peserta didik, sampai masyarakat luas, agar saling membantu untuk mewujudkan transformasi pendidikan di Indonesia.
Merdeka belajar adalah sebuah gerakan yang menitikberatkan pada kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Pendekatan tersebut untuk mendorong peserta didik agar aktif, kreatif dan kritis dalam proses belajar mengajar. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan cita-cita Ki Hadjar Dewantara untuk menciptakan generasi bangsa yang mandiri, cerdas, dan berkarakter mulia.
