Deskripsi
Pantai Hambawang (SMAN 2 Barabai) - Seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 2 Barabai, Dewan Guru dan Staf Tata Laksana sekolah memperingati Hari Kartini, Senin (22/04/2024) di Lapangan Outdoor SMA Negeri 2 Barabai. Dengan menggunakan kebaya dan pakaian tradisional, Dewan Guru, Staf, dan seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 2 Barabai mengikuti upacara bendera dengan khidmat.
Dalam amanatnya, Bapak Derry Kasuma Maulana, S.Pd selaku Pembina upacara menyampaikan tentang peringatan Hari Kartini yang merupakan momentum bagi kita untuk tidak hanya sekedar mengenang sosok R.A Kartini saja, melainkan juga bisa mengambil hikmah dari nilai-nilai luhur perjuangan Raden Ajeng Kartini yang patut diteladani.
“Ibu R.A Kartini sangat berjasa dalam mengangkat derajat kaum perempuan di Indonesia, berkat Ibu R.A Kartini saat ini para wanita dapat mengenyam pendidikan dan melaksanakan pekerjaan yang dulu hanya dilakukan dan dikerjakan oleh kaum laki-laki, Sehingga perempuan Indonesia mempunyai kesetaraan yang sama di semua aspek dengan kaum laki-laki, termasuk Ibu-Ibu Guru hebat yang mengajar dan mengabdikan diri di SMA Negeri 2 Barabai ini”, katanya.
Selain itu, Beliau juga mengajak kepada siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 2 Barabai khususnya sebagai perempuan Indonesia, untuk dapat memiliki tanggung jawab dengan mengambil peran aktif dalam mewujudkan impian R.A Kartini untuk masyarakat yang adil dan sejahtera. Dengan cara disiplin, bertanggung jawab, rajin belajar, terus berjuang dan bertumbuh bersama, mengikuti jejak R.A Kartini dalam meraih kemerdekaan dan kesetaraan yang sejati.
Di Hari Kartini tahun 2024 ini, kita juga dapat merenungkan bagaimana nilai-nilai yang dianut R.A Kartini agar terus relevan dan berdampak positif dalam kehidupan masyarakat saat ini. Di tengah-tengah gempuran majunya teknologi dan transformasi digital, perempuan Indonesia semakin menonjol dalam berbagai bidang seperti bisnis, ilmu pengetahuan, seni, politik, dan masih banyak lagi. Namun, bukan berarti tak ada tantangan. Masih ada kesenjangan gender yang perlu diatasi, terutama dalam akses pendidikan, kesempatan kerja, dan keterwakilan di level kepemimpinan.
Diakhir amanatnya Beliau juga mengatakan bahwa “Hari Kartini bukan hanya sekedar perayaan, tetapi juga panggilan untuk terus memperjuangkan kesetaraan dan keadilan bagi semua”, tegasnya.
