SMAN 2 Barabai
Deskripsi
Pantai Hambawang (SMAN 2 Barabai) – Selasa, (07/05/2024) melaksanakan kegiatan kegiatan Perpisahan dan Pengukuhan Siswa Kelas XII SMA Negeri 2 Barabai Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 di lapangan outdoor SMA Negeri 2 Barabai. Dengan tema “THE LAST GENERATION K13” yang berarti angkatan ke-38 ini merupakan angkatan terakhir di SMA Negeri 2 Barabai yang menggunakan Kurikulum 2013.
Kegiatan berlangsung sangat meriah dengan banyaknya tamu undangan yang berhadir seperti Camat Kecamatan Labuan Amas Selatan, Bapak Polsek, Koramil, dan Pembakal Kecamatan Labuan Amas Selatan. Ketua Komite, orang tua/wali peserta didik kelas XII. Serta para undangan lainnya yang berasal dari berbagai sekolah menenagah pertama yang berada di sekitar Kecamatan Labuan Amas Selatan.
Acara dimulai dari penampilan pembuka drumband, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tari penyambutan baksa kembang, hingga acara inti yakni pembacaan Ikrar Alumni, pelepasan atribut sekolah secara simbolis, dan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengalungan medali alumni dari kelas XII MIPA 1 s.d XII IPS 4, sungkeman kepada orang tua/wali, dan acara terakhir hiburan.
Dalam sambutan Ibu Kepala Sekolah Sahrida Melati, S.Pd berpesan kepada seluruh siswa-siswi agar tetap menghormati ke dua orang tuanya dan kepada guru walau dimanapun berada, dan tetap menjaga nama baik almamater sekolah. Beliau juga mengatakan “akan selalu mendo’akan kalian semoga kalian menjadi anak-anak yang hebat , sukses meraih cita-cita yang diinginkan, setelah lulus di sekolah tercinta ini”.
Acara ini juga mengandung air mata ketika memasuki sesi sungkeman kepada orang tua/wali peserta didik. Dimana mereka bersimpuh berterima kasih karena sudah diberikan kesempatan untuk dapat mengeyam pendidikan selama hidup, serta meminta maaf dan meminta doa kepada orang tua/wali mereka untuk kesuksesan mereka.
