Deskripsi
Pantai Hambawang (SMAN 2 Barabai) – Kamis, (06/06/2024) Usai kegiatan Penilaian Akhir Semester yang cukup menguras tenaga, sebuah tradisi yang mempertemukan siswa-siswa antar kelas dalam bentuk lomba atau pertanding yaitu Classmeeting . Ajang tahunan yang banyak dinantikan siswa seusai melaksanakan penialaian akhir semester genap. Tanpa menghilangkan semangat, para siswa antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini dengan antusias tinggi. Dengan adanya kegiatan classmeeting ini, setiap individu ataupun kelas memiliki harapan tinggi untuk mengikuti dan memperebutkan gelar juara.
Pada hari ini, 06 Juni 2024 SMAN 2 Barabai mengadakan kegiatan classmeeting dengan melibatkan OSIS yang didampingi oleh pembina OSIS dan bapak/ibu guru yang terlibat untuk menyusun teknis pelaksanaan kegiatan. Pada semester genap ini, cabang lomba yang diadakan adalah Futsal dan lomba membuat artikel berita/jurnalistik. Classmeeting berlangsung secara offline di Lapangan Outdoo r SMA NEGERI 2 Barabai selama 3 hari yaitu pada tanggal 6,7,10 juni 2024.
Menurut pembina OSIS Ibu Novita mengatakan bahwa tujuan utama dari diadakanya kegiatan classmeeting yang pertama, menjalin keakraban antar siswa kelas X dan XI, kedua melatih solidaritas dan sportifitas siswa, ketiga ajang penyaluran semangat, bakat, dan minat siswa, keempat ajang hiburan dan wadah penyaluran kegembiraan setelah melewati ujian.
Sementara menurut beberapa orang siswa yang diwawancarai mereka berharapan untuk kegiatan classmeeting diakhir semester selanjutnya, semoga lebih banyak lagi cabang lomba yang diadakan dan mendapat lebih banyak dukungan dari siswa dan guru, sehingga kegiatan classmeeting selanjutnya berjalan dengan sangat meriah. Terlebih bagi OSIS, kegiatan ini dapat menjadi segudang manfaat yang luar biasa dan juga melatih tanggung jawab, ketelitian, dan kemampuan.
