Deskripsi
Pantai Hambawang (SMAN 2 Barabai) - Senin (10/11/2024) melaksanakan upacara memperingati hari pahlawan yang diadakan di halaman depan sekolah. Tanggal 10 November dirayakan untuk mengenang jasa para pahlawan dalam memperjuangkan dan mempertahankan kemerdekaan. Tema Hari Pahlawan Nasional 2024 adalah "Teladani Pahlawanmu, Cintai Negerimu". Tema tersebut sebagaimana tercantum dalam Pedoman Penyelenggaraan Hari Pahlawan Nasional 2024 oleh Kemensos RI.
Tema Hari Pahlawan 2024 ini mencerminkan semangat meneladani perjuangan para pahlawan bangsa dalam keberanian, pengorbanan, dan semangat juang. Serta menyimbolkan semangat meneruskan cita-cita para pendiri bangsa dan mencintai negeri.
Begitupula dalam upacara yang dilaksanakan dibarengi dengan pembacaan pesan-pesan dari para pahlawan, khususnya pahlawan kebanggan banua yaitu Pangeran Antasari. Tujuh pesan itu semua menggunakan bahasa Banjar. Pertama, Haram Manyarah Waja Sampai Kaputing. Kedua, Lamun Tanah Banyu Kita Kahada Handak Dilincai Urang, Jangan Bacakut Papadaan Kita. Ke tiga, Lamun Handak Tulak Manyarang Walanda, Baikat Hati di Tali Sindat. Berikutnya yang ke empat, Jangan Sampai Hati Paharatan Bukah, Matilah Kita di Jalan Allah. Ke lima, Siapa Nang Babaik-baik lawan Walanda, Tujuh Katurunan Kahada Aku Sapa. Ke enam, Lamun Kita sudah supakat handak mahinyik Walanda, Janganlah Walanda Dibari Muha, Badalas Pagat Urat Gulu, Lamun Manyarah Kahada. Ke tujuh, Haram Dijamah Walanda, Haram Diriku di Panjara, Haram Nagriku Dijajah.
Kepala SMAN 2 Barabai, Sahrida Melati yang memimpin upacara peringatan mengajak semua peserta didik dapat mewarisi nilai-nilai perjuangan yang diwariskan tersebut. "Tujuh pesan tadi yang harus kita aplikasikan, wujudkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.”
Semangat sang pahlawan, kata dia, harus diwujudkan dalam membangun bangsa ini menjadi lebih baik. Terutama persatuan dan kesatuan dalam mengedepankan rasa kebersamaan. "Di situ tergambar, bahwa semangat Haram Manyarah Waja Sampai Kaputing, dapat kita aplikasikan dalam menjalankan misi kemerdekaan untuk Negara dan daerah yang lebih baik lagi khususnya untuk peserta didik dapat lebih semangat dan mengapai prestasi dibidang akademik maupun non akademik di sekolah," ujarnya.
