Deskripsi
Pantai Hambawang, (SMAN 2 Barabai) - SMA Negeri 2 Barabai rayakan Hari Guru Nasional dengan berbagai macam kegiatan yang penuh makna dan sebagai refleksi atas dedikasi guru dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Kegiatan ini turut dihadiri oleh Dewan Guru, Tata Usaha sekolah, dan seluruh siswa yang bertepatan pada Senin, (25/11/24) dengan tema "Guru Hebat, Indonesia Kuat".
Dengan semangat tema tersebut, diharapkan guru dapat terus menginspirasi generasi muda untuk menjadi pribadi yang berdaya saing global dan bermoral tinggi. Kepala SMA Negeri 2 Barabai, Sahrida Melati mengatakan bahwa pokok pikirannya sejalan dengan pidato Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti.
"Kedudukan guru sangat penting dalam kehidupan bangsa dan negara. Guru tidak hanya memiliki peran sebagai agen pembelajaran, tetapi juga sekaligus sebagai agen peradaban. Guru tidak hanya mengajarkan ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga nilai moral, etika, dan budaya. Mereka menjadi agen peradaban yang menjaga dan mengembangkan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa" ujar Sahrida dalam amanat yang disampaikan pada saat upacara.
Setelah upacara, berbagai kegiatan menarik diadakan sebagai bentuk perayaan Hari Guru Nasional. Siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 2 Barabai menggelar acara khusus sebagai bentuk kesyukurannya kepada Dewan Guru atas jasa dan penghargaan yang telah diberikan oleh guru. Acara yang dimulai dengan menyanyikan lagu Terimakasih Guruku, hingga membacakan puisi yang semakin membuat rasa haru yang dirasakan oleh para guru dan ditutup dengan proses salam-salaman sebagai bentuk penghargaan dan penghormatan siswa kepada guru.
Selain itu, Kepala Sekolah juga memberikan penghargaan kepada beberapa guru berprestasi yang turut memberikan kontribusi luar biasa dalam mengharumkan nama sekolah. Penghargaan ini diberikan langsung oleh Kepala SMA Negeri 2 Barabai sebagai bentuk apresiasi terhadap guru yang turut serta memberikan sumbangsih terhadap sekolah.
