Deskripsi
Hulu Sungai Tengah – Dalam rangka menyambut hari kemerdekaan Indonesia ke 80 Tahun yang bertemakan “Bersatu Berdaulat, Rakyat Sejahtera Indonesia Maju”, SMAN 2 Barabai menggelar rangkaian kegiatan lomba-lomba 17an yang berlangsung di lapangan outdoor SMAN 2 Barabai pada 13 s.d. 15 Agustus 2025 yang diikuti seluruh peserta didik, guru, dan staf tata laksana sekolah.
Kegiatan yang termasuk dalam agenda tahunan ini selalu digelar untuk dapat memeriahkan Hari Kemerdekaan Indonesia ke 80 tahun dan menanamkan kerja sama serta kekompakan baik peserta didik maupun bapak/ibu guru dan staf sekolah. Oleh karena itu OSIS dan MPK memilih lomba-lomba yang juga dapat meningkatkan kekompakan dan kerja sama dalam tim yang dengan meriah serta antusias diikuti seluruh warga sekolah.
Sahrida Melati, S.Pd selaku kepala sekolah sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan ini sebagai bentuk untuk mengingat kembali perjuangan para pahlawan proklamasi. "Ini adalah sebagai bentuk rasa syukur kita dengan diadakannya kegiatan lomba untuk menjalin kebersamaan dan mempererat kerjasama dalam tim sebagaimana perjuangan para pahlawan-pahlawan kita yang terdahulu" pungkasnya.
