Deskripsi
Hulu Sungai Tengah (SMAN 2 Barabai) – Selasa, 9 September 2025 OSIS & MPK SMAN 2 Barabai mengadakan kegiatan Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Siswa (LDKS) untuk mencari generasi penerus keanggotaan Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) dan Majelis Permusyawaratan Kelas (MPK) tahun periode 2025/2026 nantinya, yang di laksanakan di ruangan laboraturium Bahasa selama 3 hari.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut yang dibuka oleh Sahrida Melati, S.Pd selaku Kepala SMAN 2 Barabai dalam sambutannya berharap kegiatan tersebut dapat membentuk kepemimpinan siswa dan meningkatkan peran generasi muda dalam keorganisasian yang ada di sekolah.
"Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan generasi-generasi muda agar menjadi versi terbaik dari seorang pemimpin serta dengan berorganisasi agar menjadi bekal di kemudian hari" ujarnya.
Novita Sri Ariyanti, S.Pd selaku pembina OSIS juga menambahkan "kami berharap agar dapat membentuk pemuda pemudi yang terbaik sebagai pelopor bagi teman-temannya yang lain di sekolah".
Selain itu kegiatan ini juga memasukkan materi public speaking yang sangat dibutuhkan pada saat ini. Dimana untuk memimpin organisasi yang ada di sekolah maupun organisasi lainnya sangat dibutuhkan kecakapan dalam berkomunikasi yang baik, oleh karena itu dalam kesempatan ini materi public speaking disampaikan dan langsung dipraktekkan oleh peserta kegiatan Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Siswa (LDKS).
